Bought this straightener because I had used the uk version back home and needed a new one now that I am in the US. The US GHD is just as good as the uk one which puts it way above other straighteners, yeah its expensive but it really is worth it, it takes about half the time to straighten your hair and the result is much smoother. just buy it! | ||||||

This flat iron is absolutely great, it leaves your hair so silky smooth and soft and trust me, I've tried alot... the texture of my hair has a combination of wavey frizz, and this does WONDERS!!! I would recommend this product to anyone. | ||||||

I purchased this iron after reading the reviews on amazon and [...]. I am very frugal, so this was a lot of $$ to spend a flat iron. I am so glad that I bought it and I would buy it again if anything ever happened to it. My hair looks so good. Even my husband noticed my hair and he LOVES it. Yay! Before I wore my hair up in a pony tail every day because it was hard to style and took forever. Now I can straighten and/or curl my hair in 20 minutes....and I have a TON of hair. If you are considering this iron go for it, you won't be disappointed! | ||||||

Received this item quickly and very happy with it. GHD is the best hair straightner/curler on the market and it is worth the price! I tested it in a humid climate (Singapore) and hair stays straight all day long, no frizz. It takes only couple of minutes to style your hair, works very fast and heats up very quickly too, about 3-4 seconds. | ||||||

I just got this in the mail yesterday and it has made the BIGGEST improvement on my hair! Wow! I still can't believe it when I look in the mirror how much straighter and shinnier my hair is. I was using the "wet to straight" flat iron and my hair never looked even close to how it looks now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! | ||||||

GHD flat iron is very great and wonderful. My hair looks very pretty after using it unbelievable!!! Each section of my hair needs to be flattened by GHD only one time and it gets straight very easily unlike my previous flat iron from Conair. GHD flat iron saves your time to style your hair. Even though the GHD flat iron is very expensive, it is very worth in every penny. My hair looks very shinny and beautiful. | ||||||

My mother and I have kinky, curly, and frizzy hair. I decided to really try out the flat iron so I washed my hair and let it dry naturaly, then I tried the flat iron. My hair has never looked so good then I tried it on my moms hair with the same results. Even better I did not feel the need to constantly touch it up, and it was also great at adding a curl/wave. This is the very best straightener we have ever found. My daughters have struggled with curly/frizzy hair since they were in middle school, and we have bought several irons which either didn't work well, or damaged their hair. Our hair salon used this type, and suggested we order one for our private use. We now have 2! and love them. | ||||||

I wasted money and bough two different hair curlers before I learned of the GHD flat iron. Before I thought flat irons only flatens hair; I didn't know it curls and flips also! This thing heats up in about 10 seconds and straightens my hair unlike any other straightener I have owned....and i have the most unruly hair. I was concerned about forking out so much as I was disappointed in the past with other products, but the was well worth it! | ||||||

It does heat up quickly, but for some reason my hair never holds the curls. My friend has the same product which she got from sephora for over $200 and my hair holds curls better with hers so I'm skeptical as to if I have the real thing, although mine came with the box and all of the expected markings... | ||||||

So far so good...I only say this because in Jan 2007 I ordered the pink Chi for 129.99 and it no longer works. It turns on and off at will...anyway this one works wonderfully, great color, fast shipping. It is the perfect size, that is not too large to take up space or make it hard to handle. It also gets hot and stays hot. I would recommend this product. | ||||||

I have extremely tight short Caribbean curls, plus my hair has a tendency to be very dry and course so I bought the GHD Mini in hopes that it would straighten my hair and be able to stay straight against the South Florida humidity.I have to say it exceeded my expectations. My hair looked smooth and healthy and kept a natural straight appearance ,not a weird ram rod straight burnt ironed look, throughout the whole day. Granted its pricey but its definitely a good investment for anyone who has short wild untamable hair, its a god send. | ||||||
